Three things Thursday!

Can you believe it's mid-March already? Have you gotten your Spring cleaning on? It's not too late. Here are some things to get rid of this Spring to make way for the Spring air!

1) Shoe purge: End of season is the perfect time to reassess your footwear!

Get all of your shoes out. Yes, all of them. ;)

Toss: Any shoes with wear, holes, worn edges, or scuff marks.

Keep: any that have none of the aforementioned blemishes, are comfortable, and either current or useful (or both)

Donate: any shoes in good condition that do not fit, or no longer suit your tastes.

2) Kids clothing, gear, and toys: They grow out of things pretty quickly, don't they?

Anything too small, too babyish, or broken should be donated or tossed.

3) Old tax records and returns:

Notice from the IRS: Keep records for 3 years from the date you filed your original return or 2 years from the date you paid the tax, whichever is later, if you file a claim for credit or refund after you file your return. Keep records for 7 years if you file a claim for a loss from worthless securities or bad debt deduction

***There is some debate about how long to save the actual returns, some authorities say 3 years, some say seven, and some say to never throw away the actual return. I keep mine for 7 years.

Happy Spring everyone!

Peace, love, and labelmakers y'all!

Meg
