Favorite things from this week.
Do little things just make you happy? Perhaps I'm just easily amused, but it's the little stuff that can really push me into a better mood. And it's important to stop and recognize them. Here are 3 things that brought me joy this week. I hope they can bring you some too.
1) Life hacks from clients:
I worked with an awesome client this week who was dropping life hack bombs left and right. One of my favorites was the "yak blanket".
What is this you ask? Well, a friend of a friend of an aunt made a blanket for her first born. It was incredibly sweet, but not her taste or her style. But the blanket was painstakingly made with love, so it was not something she could easily rid of. The "yak blanket" was born. Whenever one of her children fell ill, she would use the blanket to cover the regular bedding in a protective shield, thus also comforting the child in an island of love and health.
Pretty sure my clients are geniuses yall.
2) Sun and Earth.
Due to a couple of autoimmune diseases, I have had to change all of the chemicals in my life to be non-chemicals. But even without this impetus, I'm glad I found this product. If you are a client of mine, you are familiar with Sun and Earth surface wipes (because I almost always have them on hand). Biodegradable, all natural, with a yummy orange scent. I have them on auto-replenish in the Amazon!
3) My "store":
I have finally gotten my organizing "store" set up in my garage! I positioned it so it lines up with the trunk of my car so I can easily change out organizing supplies per job. I'm so excited! I used secondhand Elfa that I have been procuring for months from facebook marketplace (because I just can't let myself pay full price for Elfa!). And it makes my mornings go so much more smoothly!
