3 Things Thursday: (ummm, 5 actually)

We STAYcationed over Spring Break and it has me DREAMING of the beach. If any of you are traveling anytime soon, check out these packing hacks that were featured on Good Afternoon Arkansas W/Elicia Dover!

There are usually two kinds of packers 1) the meticulous packer who starts collecting items and writing lists weeks before departure, and 2) the wait-until-the-last-minute packer who throws everything in a bag the night before. Wouldn't it be nice to have a healthy mix of both? Here are some organizing tips to be meticulous AND efficient!

1) Pack this! Notepad by Knock Knock- this notepad lists EVERYTHING you may need on a trip, so you don't need to remember it all. It severely reduces the chance of forgetting something important, like your toothbrush!

2) Packing Cubes - in my former career I traveled for weeks at a time, and packing cubed SAVED me so much time and effort. They really hold a lot, and you can separate them by outfits, jammies, workout gear, etc..

**Inside these cubes I also recommend rolling clothing rather than folding. You can fit more and it reduces wrinkling

3) Make-up drawstring bag: I LOVE this bag when traveling! It can hold all of your make-up and toiletries, and if you are in a hurry, just draw the string and go!

4) Travel wallet that doubles as a clutch: I really appreciate items that pull double duty when traveling. I always travel with a travel wallet and use it on my trip as a clutch. It can hold any travel documents, your passport, any size currency, and receipts. And when I am not traveling, this is where my passport and all of my frequent flyer cards live.

5) Here are a couple little mini-hacks that can easily help you get packed as well as well:

- use a Binder Clip to cover your shaver

- Use shower caps to cover your shoes

- Store your soap and lotion in a contact case
